A Welcome Look Inside: Rolled4Ever Ice Cream

Thai ice cream in Nashville? Yes, that is exactly what Rolled4Ever is serving up! Starting out with their Roll Bus, lifelong friends Bariangela Segovia and Maliyah Bass founded this “cool” ice cream concept in 2018 after an inspiring spring break trip to New York. The 2 life-long friends turned a “cool concept” into a full-time career. Since then, Rolled 4 Ever Ice Cream has grown tremendously. In October 2020, Rolled 4 Ever Ice Cream added their first storefront location to the thriving neighborhood of Germantown.

We know what you’re thinking: how do you manage to roll ice cream? We got the inside scoop! The dessert’s liquid base is poured over a metal platform kept at below-freezing temperatures called an ice grill. The liquid base begins to freeze until the preparer begins to manipulate the semi-frozen mixture with a pair of fast-moving spatulas, spreading the base thinly across the platform and adding toppings from strawberries to chocolate chunks. The preparer uses the spatulas to cut thin strips that are then rolled and placed in a bowl. Add your finishes like chocolate sauce and sprinkles, and Viola!
