October 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm $25.00
What does it mean to find home? Nashville vocalist Cheryl Slay Carr explores that question through music and storytelling in *Finding Home: Songs of Love and Justice*, an intimate benefit concert at the National Museum of African American Music on Friday, October 9. Drawing from soul, gospel, R&B, jazz and other musical traditions, the evening explores love, faith, identity, belonging and justice, with featured guest artist MarQo “Q” Patton. *Finding Home* benefits I Am Next and its work with young people aging out of foster care, connecting them with resources and relationships as they build stability and transition into adulthood. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25.
