Black businesses are flourishing in Nashville, which is part of what makes it so beautiful when these businesses collaborate. In celebration of Black Business Month, we partnered with Twendé, a statewide accelerator for founders color of TN to grow and scale their businesses at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Showing proof of how amazing Twendé is, are six inspiring founders and program participants helping to fuel Nashville’s continued ascension as a top city for entrepreneurs to thrive. From meal prep to juicing, home trash pick up to caregiving assistance and capturing your family moments or helping you bring your new little bundle of joy into this world.
At the helm of this program is Em Wilder, whose calm and intentional spirit has a real heart for each of the founders she works with. Entrepreneurship is not a journey for the faint at heart and Em is bringing her innovative thinking to this role to help each business grow.
We had so much fun hearing and capturing their stories for this special campaign. Plus, it was like a Nashville native party, which always warms my heart as one myself. The shoot also provided an opportunity for participants to reconnect and catch each other up on all the great things they have coming up. Connection can be a hidden superpower that always stirs up great energy when spaces are filled intentionally. This was the case for this feature and I am excited to share each one of these founders. Click on each photo to learn about their entrepreneur story.
