A Look Back: An Evening Celebration of Black History + Culture at Nearest Green Distillery

The Trust for Public Land (TPL) On April 14, in partnership with Nearest Green Distillery, hosted an evening at the distillery, showcasing its decades-long work on land protection and historic preservation to uncover and uplift landmarks that tell the story of the Black experience in America. The gathering featured live entertainment, food and Uncle Nearest-inspired drinks, and a conversation with Uncle Nearest Co-Founder, Sony Executive Keith Weaver and TPL’s Black History & Culture Director Dr. Jocelyn Imani, with future partners and industry supporters also in attendance.
