This is a Her Nashville Story, Celebrating Women’s History Month series

When speaking with Jessica and Simone of TNT Goods, I couldn’t help but ask, “Who’s cutting onions?!” The love between these two best friends turned business partners was palpable and enough to bring a lump to my throat. The way they speak life into one another, the light in their eyes when they reminisce about their college years spent together, and the sheer passion they have for their beloved brand—it’s truly inspiring. What a gift it is that this love is woven into everything they do. It’s clear that TNT Goods is more than a jewelry business; it’s a vessel for spreading joy, encouraging authenticity, and fostering friendship—the true cornerstone of the brand.

The friendship between Jessica, a Chicago native, and Simone, from Louisville, blossomed here in Nashville at Vanderbilt University in a spoken word club, initiating a friendship where creativity is the hallmark. From their first interaction, there was a familiarity amongst them that made it obvious that they were meant to be best friends. Post grad, these self-proclaimed platonic soulmates worked jobs in healthcare and tech and traveled the world together, deepening their bond. Upon return, the two decided to take a leap of faith, and joined their creative forces together to create TNT Goods.

TNT Goods (which stands for “This N That”) is not your average jewelry business. Jessica, the calm, collected visionary behind the brand, and Simone, the passionate and energetic force, are your favorite duo’s favorite duo. Together, they’ve built a brand that reflects their shared values and commitment to making quality, accessible jewelry for everyone.

With a line that includes beautiful pieces like personalized necklaces, delicate rings, and bold statement earrings to add that extra flair to your fit, TNT Goods is all about helping people express themselves. “We really wanted to create a brand that’s not only about style but about making people feel seen,” Jessica explained. “We want our jewelry to feel like it’s a part of you—something that speaks to who you are.”

One thing that sets TNT Goods apart is their commitment to accessibility. “We believe that great jewelry shouldn’t be out of reach,” Simone shared. “It’s about offering pieces that are both affordable and high quality, because everyone deserves to feel good in what they wear.” This emphasis on accessibility means that TNT Goods offers a wide range of price points, ensuring that their designs are for everyone, no matter their budget.

As TNT Goods grew, the duo formed a strong community of followers they affectionately call their “TNT Besties.”

“The TNT Besties are everything to us,” Simone said. “They’re the ones who have supported us from day one, and we consider them family. It’s not just about selling jewelry to us; it’s about building relationships with people who truly believe in what we’re doing. We’re all in this together, and the TNT Besties are the heart and soul of our brand.”

The love they share for each other—and for their community—shines through everything they do.

“We believe in supporting others, lifting each other up, and being part of a community. TNT Goods isn’t just about selling jewelry. It’s about building something together.”

From hosting pop-up shops to collaborating with local artists and businesses, TNT Goods is all about fostering a sense of togetherness.

TNT Goods continues to grow, but their core values remain the same. “We’ve come a long way, but the foundation of who we are hasn’t changed. We’ll always stay true to our mission of bringing people together through beautiful, accessible jewelry.”

As our conversation wrapped up, I couldn’t help but admire the strength and authenticity that radiates from Jessica and Simone. TNT Goods isn’t just a brand—it’s a testament to the power of friendship, creativity, and community, and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next.
