Things To Know For Nashville Urbaanites To Get Involved In Community

“Now is the accepted time, not tomorrow, not some more convenient season. It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day or future year. It is today that we fit ourselves for the greater usefulness of tomorrow. Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest and the playtime.” W.E.B. Du Bois (thumbnail by Televise the Movement via Norf Wall Fest)

With all of the recent events, we thought we would share a few great ways for folks to get inspired to do more than just hashtags (even though I do love a great hashtag:). As readers of our growing community, you know we are all about city guiding from the local African-American perspective. We love to eat. We love to connect. We love family. We love to dance. We love to hustle. We love art. We love music. We love people. We love living life. We love doing good. And we love covering all the need to know things to ensure local living is done to the fullest. With all that being said the “Do Good” piece is what inspired our “Best Of” list today. Check out some of the ways to get involved with changing conversations here in Nashville, then let us know if we missed anything, any leaders or organizations we should know about. Feel free to share away in the comments below.
