Ta-Tanisha, a certified Autism Travel Professional, has owned Officially Crowned Travel as a sole proprietor since 2015, and officially established on January 1, 2023 after leaving HCA Healthcare in 2022.
She is certified in healthcare compliance and privacy and worked in the Ethics and Compliance Department. She was responsible for the coordination of the annual World’s Most Ethical Companies application. Prior to HCA, she was with American Health Partners, where she revitalized their LMS and helped maintain compliance with a federal corporate integrity agreement.
At the end of last year, she decided it was time to say farewell to corporate America and focus on scaling her business, which is bringing her joy and providing empowered services to clients with children or other family members on the spectrum.
She was recently accepted into the Spring cohort of Corner to Corner and is working to bring a tour to Nashville that she plans to franchise throughout the U.S. – think the former “Glamour Shots!”

Title: CEO & Creator of Exceptional Experiences
How many years have you been in Nashville? We’ve been in Nashville for 15 years. We left Grand Rapids, Michigan and followed my Mother-in-Love after she retired here when our son was a toddler – she offered to watch him for free – I said call, “U-Haul!”
Tell us what you are creating in Nashville? I am creating access to the world by land, air or sea through immersive international itineraries with exclusive amenities for luxury, romance and group travelers. I also create travel-themed t-shirts and items geared towards travelers, travel agents/advisors, and travel agency owners.
What inspires you? A new day! It holds promise, and I am always grateful the Creator saw fit to give me another day of life. Another source of inspiration is sending clients to popular and remote corners of the world. I love seeing their video, photos, hearing about their adventures and all the things they’ve experienced in destination.
Coffee, lunch, brunch, or happy hour? Most definitely brunch; always a good time to catch a bite with friends and make the most of a late morning or early afternoon before shopping!
Describe Nashville in 3 words ? Burgeoning. Bustling. Auspicious.
Favorite Nashville musician, singer or artist? Maya Papaya Art
What is your favorite Nashville spot you are digging right now? Wow! So, many. I’ll say the National Museum of African American Music because I find something new or learn something interesting each time I volunteer or visit.
