Robert Higgins Jr., the award-winning Nashville entrepreneur behind popular establishments like Supper Club on Belcourt and Bungalow10, has made history as the first Black entrepreneur in Tennessee to collaborate with Patrón. The partnership has resulted in the creation of 5240, a limited edition barrel select añejo tequila, which will be sold exclusively at Higgins’ restaurants and lounges in Nashville and Memphis, starting February 7, 2025.
Named after his childhood home address, 5240 Minerva Ave in St. Louis, the tequila also holds a special connection to his Nashville lounge, Minerva Avenue. With this collaboration, Higgins celebrates both his roots and his future, offering a premium tequila experience crafted with 100% Weber Blue Agave.
Higgins, who traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico to witness the traditional tequila-making process firsthand, emphasized the authenticity and sustainable practices behind the product. “Working with Patrón has been an extraordinary experience,” he says, highlighting the commitment to quality ingredients and craftsmanship.

5240 marks Higgins’ debut in the spirits industry, adding to his growing list of successful ventures, and reflects Patrón’s dedication to partnering with innovative leaders. This tequila promises to be a unique, vibrant addition to Tennessee’s growing craft beverage scene.
