The energy is on point, vibes are top-notch, that feeling of old school Nashville, DJ CellyCell was serving up good music, plus the food is fye( yep I mean it). Roasted Salemtown is one of Nashville’s hottest brunch spots, and the food speaks for itself. Chef Ericka Fizer-Harvey (aka Chef E) is the culinary visionary behind Roasted. Located right in the heart of Germantown/Salemtown in the previous Local Distro building, Roasted offers a robust brunch menu all week. As a brunch lover, I was automatically invested when I had a chance to attend their latest tasting experience.

Their signature dishes include a lot of southern favorites like salmon croquettes, chicken + waffles, and good ole grits. The chicken wings are a must try and do not order any entree without adding their Brussels sprouts or cajun rice. Roasted also offers your favorite brunch cocktails all day including: Bottomless mimosas. As Ericka, shared during the tasting experience “we don’t tell customers know here and we will always leave them feeling better when they leave here”. Now, that is something I can get behind and could really feel through each bite of the food I tasted. The menu is definitely a blend of tradition and innovation, and you can tell all of the food is cooked with love and excellence.

You can also put Roasted on your list if you are looking for live music. During the week you can catch local artists, including their Monday Night Jazz or on the weekend they have a DJ for a little brunch turn up. You can check their IG and website for upcoming events. The Roasted Experience at the R (as they call it), is one, where you can grab your girls, friends or that special someone and head on over today! You will thank me later.
