Middle Tennessee has so much to offer for our youth this summer and now is the time to sign-up! Whatever your children’s interests may be, there are opportunities to keep them engaged, learning, moving, and creating.

True Life Sports

True Life Sports founder Gary Barne’s mission is to provide an entire community of support, for youth development and growth in every aspect of life through sports. Camp Zion Summer Camp

Camp Zion is a summer day camp that offers a unique, engaging, and fun summer experience for children entering the 1st -9th grades.  Camp Zion focuses on enriching a child’s biblical knowledge, strengthening academic skills, developing character, building new relationships, and having the most fun possible.

Cheekwood Summer Camps

Moves & Grooves, Inc. Summer Enrichment Camp

The Moves & Grooves Summer Enrichment Camp introduces the arts in a creative atmosphere. Students enjoy dance, theater, music, and academic classes taught by MNPS certified teachers and dance teachers. The camp integrates contemporary dance styles and techniques to present traditional Science & Math in a non-traditional way. Students will receive a daily lunch and snack, while participating in weekly field trips, during a 4-week day camp.

Adventure Science Center Summer Camps

This summer the Science Center is introducing STEM Specialty Camps, catering to specific skills & interests. These unique camps will allow campers more opportunities to focus on their main interests. Specialty Camps Themes this summer include: Design, Build, Test, and LEGO® (Grade: 2nd-5th),Tinkering, Making, and Inventing (Grade: 3rd-6th), Science + Fashion (Grade: 4th-7th), Robotics and Electronics (Grade 4th-7th).

Art Camp for Teens with The Forge

Join the Forge for an Around the World Art Class in from July 24th-July 28th or August 7th-11th. Classes are taught by Marie Faith. These 3 hour art classes will feature a different artist and medium. Participants will learn skills and techniques used by these artists to create your own unique artworks. Learn the artistic styles of Vincent Van Gogh,  Louise Nevelson, Pablo Picasso and more.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee aim is to provide and foster mentorship to children between the ages of 9 – 16 developing personal, career, and academic skills. Some of the mentoring programs inlude: Community-Based, Site-Based, E-Mentoring, Sports Buddies, Site Based: Diversity Centered, and Mentor Corps. Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee

The Boys and Girls Clubs offer neighborhood-based buildings with affordable annual memberships at $25, children between 5 and 18 years old can become club members. The Boys Girls Club of Middle Tennessee has always been a staple in the community and provides trained youth development professionals who serve as role models and mentors. Their programs include Project Learn, Club Tech, Junior Staff, Power Hour, Money Matters, Career launch, and Be Great: Graduate.
