We hosted our first Urbaanite Outing at Fisk Galleries, one of Nashville’s staple institutions of history, culture and art. Attendees were able to have a private tour by chief curator, Jamaal Sheats of their current collections. They were then guided over to the Aaron Douglas murals, for a lunch inspired by another Nashville, staple hot chicken provided by local restaurant newcomer, Coneheads. Chef and owner, Marcus Buggs shared his story and guests indulged in several of his signature items, including their best d$@! grits which were deserving of the title.
