August 17 – 19 – Blogger Xchange Xpo 

Blogger Xchange will be hosting a 3 day Xpo that will include a rooftop kickoff party at George Jones, classes held at redpepper on Saturday, and to top it all off a Sunday brunch at Industrious Gulch Nashville.

August 18 – Art Deco Affair 

Art Deco Affair is back on August 18! This summer fundraiser pays homage to our 1930s art deco building. All proceeds go toward the care and maintenance of this landmark. Join us for drinks, light bites, exclusive access to the galleries, and entertainment by Nashville’s own DJ AyDamn.

August 18 – Vanguard Art Show Featuring Shabazz Larkin 

Ever been to an art show? If so, not this one! The Vanguard Art Show featuring Shabazz Larkin will present fine art and an open mic. Our DJ and our live band will set the mood with Jazz, Hip Hop and Soul throughout the night. Be a part of the Vanguard, see you there!!!

August 30 – L2L Mixer: Being True Yourself, Success Without Compromise

This mixer will explore the experience of women of color at work how to work through some of the challenges we face while navigating corporate America. Our panelists will explore how they cope with those challenges, and how those coping mechanisms affect their chances of long-term success. From code-switching to rocking our natural hair, we’ll discuss how we can succeed without compromising who we are.

September 2 – 5th Annual Old School BBQ (John Merritt Classic Weekend)

Scenic Riverfront Park is the location for the 5th annual Old School BBQ Festival, on Sunday September 2nd. 2018 Part of the Labor Day Weekend Celebration in Music City, this Festival promises to be another fun event in the wonderful Downtown setting on the Cumberland River. Bring your lawn chair, an appetite and your dancing shoes as you enjoy all the great entertainment and food the Old School BBQ festival has to offer.
