7House Creative’s ArtWay hosted at National Music of African American Museum (NMAAM) is a strong contender for my favorite event of the year.
This past Saturday, 7House Creative, a collective who curates bold experiences across art, music, and fashion, hosted its flagship platform, ArtWay, at NMAAM. With previous sold out events in Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Atlanta, this event series is one of the highest selling art shows for Gen Z.
This event transformed the museum with a fusion of art, fashion, and music. With fresh bites from our faves at The Pepper Pott, DJ sets, and musical performances, this event featured nine artists and an intergenerational audience from across the country, including local Nashville artists, and those from Indianapolis, Detroit, New York City, Atlanta, and Washington D.C.
As a lover of visual art, this evening was a match made in heaven. The cocktails were flowing, the music was bumping, and the visual art was absolutely stunning.
And don’t just take my word for it, 7House just announced that their NMAAM event became the highest grossing and highest selling event of 2025 at the event.
Nathan “The Man Behind the Camera” Chenault’s tribute of the late Takeoff from Migos debuted at the event. These photos are so beautifully shot and captured the late artist’s essence perfectly. The collection now remains on permanent display at the museum.
Notable guests at this event included Kevin “Coach K” Lee of Quality Control Music.
This event was Black excellence personified. Everyone was so fly, with women and men, alike dressed fresh to death.
Major kudos to Kenneth Walton and Grant Simms, founders of 7House, Romello Smith, NMAAM’s Strategic Communicator, and all of the incredibly talented featured artists for putting on such a phenomenal event.
