What are you creating in Nashville?
Since moving to Nashville, I’ve had a great time creating new avenues of business. I am a private chef for a few high-end clients. I also create content for food brands to use on social media and teach virtual cooking classes to corporate clients such as Google. I love presenting my California-style southern food to the people of Nashville, and I’ve been getting so much positive feedback!
What inspires you?
I am inspired by art, I often frequent museums and use textures and colors in my recipes. I recently went to Cheekwood to view the Chihuly exhibit. I was so blown away by the whimsical nature of his art, and couldn’t wait to get in the kitchen and create new dishes based on what I saw.
I moved to Nashville because it’s an up-and-coming city, that has a lot to offer. I love live music, dancing; and being amongst people with good energy. When I visited Nashville; I felt nothing but good vibes, and I knew I wanted to move here. Since being here, I’ve enjoyed being a part of the Skate Nashville community. I have met so many cool, and friendly people through attending their skate nights. I also frequent Brentwood Skate and River Gate on adult night. I’ve also met the most empowering women while taking pole classes at different studios around the city. This really is a beautiful place, and I’m happy to be living here.
What is your favorite Nashville spot you are digging right now during Covid?
I recently started taking pole classes for exercise and unleashing my feminine goddess energy. The Chrome Studio is AMAZING! I felt so safe, empowered, and I had so much fun! I am definitely going to continue going to that studio to learn more. I also want to shout out The Juice Bar in Franklin, I go there as much as possible after my workouts. They are consistent, clean, and super friendly!!!
