Title: Singer-Songwriter/Producer

What brought you to Nashville? Born and raised here in Nashville.

Tell us what you are creating in Nashville? I’m a Nashville-born singer, songwriter, producer, and creative who loves bringing people together through music. As **shelldhn**, I create and perform R&B music inspired by soul, love, and storytelling, while also curating live events that showcase incredible artists and build community. When I’m not making music, I work with artists and organizations on graphic design, branding, and creative projects that help bring their vision to life.

What inspires you? I’m inspired by people, relationships, and the emotions that connect us. A lot of my music comes from real-life experiences, whether it’s love, heartbreak, hope, or personal growth. I’m also inspired by the rich musical legacy of R&B and soul, and I strive to create music and experiences that make people feel seen, understood, and connected.

Coffee, lunch, brunch, or happy hour? Coffee/Tea

What excites you about Nashville? What excites me most about Nashville’s growth is the emergence of its R&B scene. As a Nashville native and R&B artist, it’s been incredible to watch more artists, producers, and fans rally around the genre and create spaces where it can thrive. I’m excited to be part of a community that is helping shape Nashville into a city known not only for country music, but also as a destination for incredible R&B talent and culture.

What is your favorite Nashville spot you are digging right now? One of my favorite Nashville spots right now is Cafe Babu. It has become a hub for Nashville’s growing R&B community, bringing together artists, musicians, and music lovers in a way that feels authentic and inspiring. I’ve had the opportunity to perform and curate events there, and it’s exciting to see a space that actively supports and celebrates R&B culture in the city.
