Shawn Thompson

Title: Chief Executive Officer

What do you do or create in Nashville? I have created a full-service promotional products company called Logo My Logo that has been in existence since 2011. We help companies and organizations promote and market themselves by putting their name and logo on over 900,000 different promotional products.

What brought you to Nashville? I came to Nashville because of a full athletic football scholarship to Tennessee State University. While there I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing. My senior year I served as a Football Team Captain! I also won 2 All-Conference Awards and my TSU Football Team won the Ohio Valley Conference Championship my senior year.

What inspires you? I am inspired by a 2 year old daughter Aria & a 4 year old son Aiden. These two have helped me experience love on a new level. I build a legacy because of them and I better person and better man because they are in my life. They keep me laughing and keep me young.

Favorite Nashville spot you are digging right now? The Nashville food trucks are amazing! 2 that I love are Burnt Endz, which has the best BBQ brisket & the 2nd spot is One Love Jamaican food truck. They are both phenomenal.

What is your favorite TSU Homecoming event: The Pep Rally

Share a memorable TSU memory: My favorite memory is when the 1998 TSU Football team won the Ohio Valley Conference Championship. To see the fans celebrate in such a huge way, they tore down the goal post at Murray State University after the win. We celebrated with the fans at a level that I will never forget. It was pure joy and so much fun! And we are forever Champions!
