“I am excited to see how much the black community grows as a creative. Many people think Nashville is just hot chicken and country music but there is a massive black community here that people just dont know about. The community is so fun and full of life. It makes me so happy to see it grow and continue to prosper.”

Trinity’s interest: I am a photographer in here in Nashville. I also love trying new foods and reading. My favorite thing to do is try escape rooms with friends.

Nashville spot she is digging right now: I love brunch and 1824 Kitchen + Kocktails

“As a Native and aspiring creative, I’m so excited to be interning at Urbaanite to explore the city I grew up in and gain valuable experience. The amount of businesses, entrepreneurs, and people building within the city is beautiful to see, and I’m looking forward to the community that each of these will bring.”

Mia’s interests:  I love to read, listen to Hip Hop and R&B, watch movies, and collect CDs and magazines. Some of my favorite movies include Crooklyn and Roll Bounce.

Nashville spot she is digging right now: I’m currently obsessed with the Loading Dock, it’s the perfect place to connect, get work done, and enjoy a good matcha.
