What brought you to Nashville?

I’m originally born and raised here in the city. I just wanted to come back after school and be a part of this growing community- it’s been so much great change and I love witnessing it.

What do you do/create in Nashville?

As a PR coordinator in Nashville, I have the opportunity to manage a diverse range of client accounts spanning industries from healthcare to tourism and beyond. My role centers on building and maintaining strong media relationships to ensure my clients are represented in the best possible light. In addition to media relations, I help plan, support, and lead special events — from sporting events to coordinating group travel itineraries and logistics. Every client has unique priorities, and I strive each day to meet those needs efficiently and thoughtfully. No two days are the same, but it’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact of my work reflected throughout the Nashville community.

What inspires you?

My younger self inspires me the most because I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and I never thought I’d be where I am today at 24. Giving myself grace and recognition of the challenges I’ve overcome and dedicating time to God and myself has helped mold me into where I am now. I only wish to be inspiration for other young Black girls, because as we see, our leadership and moves are being watched everyday. I want to be a resource or role model, not a regret.

What excites you about Gen Z in Nashville?

The variety of avenues everyone comes from. There’s no specific niche about Nashville, never has been, so it’s always interesting seeing everyone shine in their own light. We’ve got the attention from neighboring cities and beyond – I feel like our community is doing something right.
