What was the catalyst for you to start your business?
The idea for Who Spilled the Veggies came from wanting to have an improved quality of life for myself. I’m a wife, I’m a mother of two daughters, and a former collegiate athlete. I wanted to make sure my own temple was maintained to help provide and care for my loved ones.
What made you want to participate in the Twendé program?
First and foremost, my aspirations for scaling my business. We’ve gone through multiple changes, whether it be name changes to structuring, and then I decided “I’m going to take ownership in my journey and dream.” I watched Twendé from its inception years ago so I’ve seen the coaches and the founders come through the program and I thought “You know what? I am going to apply.” I was accepted, and here we are.
Twendé means “Let’s go” in Kiswahili, so what’s been a word that has kept you going as an entrepreneur in Nashville?
Faith. It has been a true faith walk this whole journey from start to finish and diligence. I am hard working, persistent, and genuinely care about people and their health.
