Look Back: Well Read Silent Reading Experience

Soul’d and the Nashville Black Literacy Coalition partnered to host the Well Read: Silent Reading Experience at All People Coffee. The event was an intimate experience that brough readers together to build community while celebrating literature, culture, and shared experiences. “Connecting and getting to know the mission of Nashville Black Literacy Coalition showed me how important Well Read will be to the community. With their knowledge around the declining literacy rate in the Black community, and me understanding how reading is power, it was an urgency to put on this event.” shares Jonathan Wynn, co-founder of Soul’d.
