Urbaanite’s new column, The Edit, is off to an amazing start this year as we share and celebrate Nashville’s young adult community. We hosted some of the city’s most impressive and stylish young adults for an evening of conversation and connection in celebration of Black History Month. “Shaping Future Black History,” A Young Adult Panel brought together emerging professionals and creatives to share how they are helping to move culture forward in the city and making their own Black history.
Moderated by The Edit Column Editor, Jada Thompson, Panelists included: Lea Bryant — Founder of She’s Social, Influencer, and Community Curator ∙ Christian Sinclair — Founder of Soul’d Creative Collective and Creative Director ∙ Romello Smith — Artist Relations & Fan Engagement, National Museum of African American Music ∙ Kyla Bursey — Founder and Golf Instructor, Hikylabur LLC.
Held at Soho House Nashville, guests enjoyed networking opportunities before and after the panel conversation, which provided interaction, information, and laughs. “I am so grateful for everyone who came out to The Edit: A Young Adult Panel. It was a beautiful night filled with insight, laughter, and inspiration. I am so excited about Nashville’s Black Gen Z”, shares Jada Thompson.
