OZ Arts hosted their annual Beyond Bourbon event, raising a record-breaking $250,000. In a nod to the facility’s history as a converted cigar warehouse, Beyond Bourbon was inspired by decades of exceptional consumer events featuring the founding Ozgener family’s original cigar brand, CAO. Over 400 of Nashville’s most adventurous art lovers enjoyed the party, sampling high end spirits, cocktails, wines and beers with good company, local art and tasty local fare provided by Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint. In addition to top-shelf sips and delicious food, guests had the opportunity to sample products by Ozgener Family Cigars and local artisanal favorite Crowned Heads in the venue’s beautiful gardens.
“It is thrilling and gratifying that our autumn fundraiser broke so many records this year,” said Mark Murphy, OZ Arts Executive and Artistic Director. “Beyond Bourbon drew a record number of enthusiastic arts supporters, attracted more sponsors than ever before, and raised at least a quarter million dollars for our vital youth programs and adventurous programming. By breaking records with our benefit, we can support more groundbreaking artists who are inventing new artistic forms.”
