During Black Business Month, the Nashville Black Hospitality Group (NBHG) sponsored their inaugural networking event on Music Row for over 125 entrepreneurs – some coming over 250 miles to learn more about what Nashville has to offer. Industries represented were travel agents, restaurateurs, marketing agencies, fashion designers, local government, and hotel owners.
Sharanda Nechole Smith, Founder and CEO of NBHG said, “Nashville is envied by cities all over the country for the growth and stability of the city’s hospitality sector, and with this organization, we have the opportunity to help Nashville become a model for diversity in the hospitality industry as well. Through education, collaboration, and unwavering commitments to excellence and diversity, our vision is to create opportunities for Black businesses to contribute to Nashville’s continued growth and to benefit from it.”
