The Black Excellence Brunch held an iconic event on Sunday, June 11, 2023, in partnership with the Country Music Association during its milestone 50th anniversary celebration of CMA Fest.  The brunch was held at the historic National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, Tennessee to celebrate the career of Grammy-winning producer and BMI music executive, Shannon Sanders. The brunch brought Hollywood flair to Nashville to celebrate the innovators, creatives, legends, and new school leaders in country music. Tiera Kennedy, Camille Parker, Shy Carter, Skyelor Anderson, and Sam Pounds were in attendance, just to name a few.

Guests enjoyed live performances, amazing vibes, and an electrifying fireside chat led by Trell Thomas, Black Excellence Brunch founder.  Signature cocktails such as the Tennessee Whiskey Mule, and a delicious brunch menu filled with southern comfort food were enjoyed by all. There was dancing, networking, meeting new friends, and reconnecting with old friends.
