Spreading joy and positivity in any circumstance is a big goal of Keep A breast – a non-profit with a mission to reduce breast cancer risk and its impact globally through art, education and prevention. The organization has been speaking to young women about breast cancer prevention for 22 years.
On Friday, August 19th, KAB hosted their Gratitude Brunch at Henrietta Red. In 2020, the organization launched its KAB Give Back Grant program to offer some financial support to women of color who are breast cancer survivors or who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
KAB is providing Give Back Grants to BIPOC Cancer Survivors – the current cycle ends 9/15. You can find out more and apply or recommend someone for a give back grant here. So far, over 400 women have applied for these grants. KAB’s goal is to have 500 applicants in this cycle!
