Clay In The Woods

When was the last time you made something with your bare hands? Clay in The Woods is an artist collective in Goodlettsville, TN that specializes in pottery. The space was founded by Ryan Ghaffari for the purpose of creating a safe space for therapeutic art and creativity. Tucked away in an idyllic, woody setting, Clay in the Woods offers several options for getting your hands dirty. You can book a 10 week pottery class for yourself, or bring a few friends for a group experience you’re sure to remember for years to come. For 1-3 people, you can have a full pottery creating experience for $125 a person. Social butterfly? 4-8 people can reserve a class for $100 per person.

Liquor Lab

Liquor Lab is the perfect group experience to spice up the week with your crew. Not only is it a gorgeous space, but they have several different options for whatever size group you’re bringing along! You can make a reservation for a fun mixology class: Nashville options include Margaritas & More, Espresso Martinis & More, or The Art of the Old Fashioned. Groups get to about 33 people, and there are breaks between drinks to enjoy the vibe, sample bites from local partners, and mingle with friends! Learn how to make your favorite drink and have a great time. You can also book the space for a private party at $85 a person with a $1700 minimum.

The Lip Lab

The perfect Girls-day destination, the Lip Lab opening in Fifth + Broadway is an amazing custom lipstick experience. You can create a signature shade that is uniquely yours and take it home! Lip Lab follows a fun, four step process – you mix your shade, choose your finish, choose a fun flavor, and most importantly – you name it! The interior is plush and glamorous so everyone in the group will feel like a star. You can make a reservation for their in-store experience online. You can make a smaller group reservation for 2-6, or you can host a party for up to 20 of your nearest, dearest, and most makeup savvy friends.

The Candle Bar by Paddywax

For all your friends who can happily spend an hour in the candle aisle, Paddywax Candle Bar is a dream come true. Conveniently located in the Gulch, it’s easy to build in to your weekend plans! From picking out the perfect vessel from an eclectic selection of pottery, to mixing and pouring your own custom scent to take home, the experience is fun and creative from top to bottom. You can either pick up your candle about 3 hours after pouring, or have it shipped to your home for $12. Paddywax is NOT only for Candle lovers, plant lovers rejoice! At their newer location in Berry Hill, you and your friends will choose your favorite Paddywax vessel and plant a species of your choosing. Additionally, age-appropriate groups are welcome to BYOB! There is an $8 fee applied to each 6 pack or bottle of wine. The BYOB is limited to Wine, Beer, or Seltzer. It’s also at a price point that everyone can get behind. You and your squad can leave knowing you’ve achieved all your aromatherapy goals, and with a great memory to share!
