I had the great pleasure of attending the First In Flight Luncheon honoring The First All Female African-American Flight Crew yesterday, February 11, 2016 at the Meharry Medical College Cal Turner Center for Education. Oh and the big kicker, their history making flight landed in good ole Nashville in 2009, yay.  Rachelle Jones Kerr, Stephanie Grant, Robin Rogers and Diana Galloway shared how this God driven, history making moment was actually an unplanned aha moment. See, the first officer originally scheduled to fly that day became ill and was sent home. Then, Stephanie Grant was called in to replace her and voila, #blackgirlmagic was in full effect. Check out some pics below and feel free to share this little Nashville (Black) History story.
