Inside The Guide: Family In Nashville with Heather Sanders

“Inside the Guide” is our summer video series that gives The Urbaanite community a glimpse into Nashville from the local African-American perspective. Each edition is curated by one of our city insiders aka locals all about sharing how they do Nashville.

This week, Heather Sanders a Nashville native and graphic designer is showing us how she lives the city. Heather and her daughter Kennedy co-authored the cutest book ever, Kenny’s Short Little Very Long Prayer Book. The book is all about getting kids into sharing the things they are thankful for by reading Kennedy’s list. We tagged along on their first book signing and had a chance to see how one awesome, local family is doing Nashville. Get inspired, make sure to share with the folks you know and/or leave a comment below.  There could be books, projects and other undiscovered fun just waiting for you to uncover next.
