Cheekwood is calling all kings, queens, princes and princesses! During the summer season, visitors will be transported to a magical realm courtesy of a new blockbuster exhibition. Enchanted Castles features five stunning, locally crafted castles nestled among lush summer blooms.
This installation is a collaboration with Castle Homes, a custom home builder based in Middle Tennessee, and provides freedom for imaginations to soar as fairy-tale adventures come to life. Climb and explore within these whimsical fortresses, each one a gateway to a different world. The experience is an exciting adventure for families and dreamers alike.
Enchanted Castles at Cheekwood will be open from May 1 – August 17, 2025.

Dragon’s Den
For the brave and daring, a climbing wall scales a tower leading to the castle’s heart, the Dragon’s nest. A treasure chest glistens as padlocks and keys along the cool, stone walls invite you to uncover untold riches and secrets. Sconces cast a warm, flickering glow that brings the dragon’s fiery spirit to life. Outside, the gardens blaze with red, orange, and yellow foliage, creating dancing flames. Flower Fairy Palace
Magic and nature intertwine in this land of fairies, blossoms, and breathtaking beauty. Mystical winged creatures spread supernatural stardust upon everything they touch. The gentle sound of chimes fills the air as spinning flowers dance in the breeze. Colorful, fragrant annuals surround a place where dreams bloom. Sponsored by: The Mathman Family.
Crow’s Nest
Climb the stairs to the balcony, where bird lovers and adventurers alike can use spyglasses to survey the landscape from above. Discover the feeling of flight and freedom on the swing set below. Wizard’s Watchtower
Step inside the wizard’s lair, every corner brimming with mystery. Navigate an intricate maze as mirrors memorize and shift reality. Gaze at the reflective stars overhead, consult the spell book, and escape time as you peer into the crystal ball. Formidable Fortress
Test your valor and show your skills in action. Entry may be a challenge for all who seek to enter, as you must cross a moat and drawbridge surrounded by crocodiles.
