The festival happens on Saturday, October 3, from 10:30am – 6:00pm

Celebrate Nashville was a vision that began on the grounds of the Scarritt Bennett Center 30 years ago. A vision steeped in the mission of it’s predecessor Scarritt College, which trained hundreds of men and women for service in Asia, Africa and Europe. Understanding, honoring and welcoming people’s cultures across the world was an important part of their education. Taking the spirit of being welcoming to all, they created Celebration of Cultures, which would be renamed to Celebrate Nashville. This day of celebration encompassed all the attributes of the people and culture that make Nashville special. The event was held at the Scarritt Bennett Center until moving to Centennial Park after outgrowing the space.

The legacy continues to live on, as the Scarritt Bennett Center has grown into an educational retreat and conference center on an 11-acre campus located in Midtown Nashville. Known for radical hospitality that creates space where individuals and groups engage each other to achieve a more just world. This year Scarritt Bennett Center will mark Celebrate Nashville’s 30 year mileston at the new state-of-the-art Event Pavilion in Centennial Park during Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival on October 3rd.
