5 Things To Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Nashville

From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month to honor the contributions of Hispanic Americans to our history. Grab some friends and celebrate the rest of the month at these exciting events both virtually and in-person (socially distant, of course).

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Sean Rafael Duo

October 9 from 12 pm to 1 pm

Tune in for this online event sponsored by the Nashville Public Library. Learn about different Latin music styles, salsa rhythms, Latin-jazz fusion, and more! All happening via NPL’s YouTube channel.  

Plaza Mariachi Farmers’ Market

October 11 from 12 pm to 3 pm

As the streets are decorated for Hispanic Heritage Month, come support local businesses and vendors selling traditional Latin sweets and crafts.

NAHCC Business and Community Excellence Awards

October 15 from 6 pm to 8 pm

Join the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as they honor Hispanic community leaders and close Hispanic Heritage Month. Grab your tickets soon because they’re going fast! 

Noches Mexicans Loteria

October 15 from 6 pm to 9 pm

Play a game of Mexican-style bingo for a chance to win cash prizes at Plaza Mariachi! After bingo, stick around for live music. 

Conexión Américas En Casa

October 16 starting at 7 pm

Streaming from Casa Azafran, celebrate the resilience of the Hispanic community and honor entrepreneurs, musicians, teachers, and leaders impacted by the events of 2020.
