An Attorney Turned Photographer Taking Nashville By “Social Justice” Storm

So, I met Elle Danielle via the “gram”. I actually found her pictures, fell in photograph heaven then immediately found her email and contacted her (yes, in that order). We connected over smoothies and it has really been a pleasure getting to know her. She really loves what she does and it truly shows in every image she takes. She is also passionate about people and has a Huffington Post article dedicated to her FB post ‘heard round the world’ (For My White Facebook Friends) and we think current total share count is like 6k!  Hear a little more about her story and how she does Nashville.

Why are you lovin’ Nashville right now::

I still consider myself new to Nashville, having moved in the Fall of 2015. Realizing that I am one of many new to the city, I love the energy and excitement that comes with the growth. I’m also a big fan of great food and coffee and Nashville certainly has plenty of each!

Tell us a little about your business::

We are a wedding and lifestyle photography business, focused on capturing moments in the most genuine way and offering top-notch service. Our relationships with our clients usually last long past their wedding days and portrait sessions. We’re known for shooting weddings all over the country and Internationally, but we’re excited about joining the Nashville market!

Elle’s Work (which speaks for itself)::
How did you get started::

I am a self-taught photographer who learned most of what I know through trial and error with a lot of hard work and practice. Before pursuing photography full-time I practiced law for four years. As an attorney, I handled a number of divorce cases. It’s a funny thing to talk about with my wedding clients — divorce — but, having witnessed the end of so many marriages, I want to capture wedding days in a way that couples will be able to look back on their day, when times get hard, and remember how happy they were on that day and the reason they committed their lives to one another.

Quote and/or Scripture you live by::

“We won’t be distracted by comparison if we’re captivated with purpose.” Bob Goff

In Nashville we love to brunch, happy hour or coffee/tea it up. What do you prefer and why::

Ha. Well, I already admitted to loving food and coffee — so those two are probably a tie. I was a bartender once upon a time, when I was in college and believe I can make a better mojito at home, so I usually skip happy hour.
