March 3, 2020 our city was tremendously affected by a devastating tornado that touched down from East Nashville, North Nashville to Donelson, Mt. Juliet and Lebanon.
We created a quick guide to a few resources in case you are needing support or looking to support your fellow Nashvillians. Where to get support:
Google Fiber at New Covenant Christian Church (North Nashville) – providing free Wifi and charging stations through Sunday, March 8, 2020 from noon to 4:00pm.
New Covenant Christian Church – 2201 Osage Ave (in front of the church).
Centennial Sportsplex – Red Cross Shelter and mobile claims unit will be setup on-site.
The Crag Nashville – providing showers and WiFi
Nashville Entrepreneur Center – providing co-working space and WiFi
Elevate Cafe – providing food (please check IG for days and times)
Hub Nashville – city resources
Rally Behind the Mundys – The Nashville community has rallied behind Joshua Mundy, owner of Music City Cleaners, TheLAB, and The Loft. All 3 businesses were impacted by the tornado. Also, see his why for starting Music City Cleaners – here.
Nashville Strong Campaign – Project 615 is selling NashvilleStrong T Shirts with all proceeds going to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Fund for disaster relief.
