The Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce Gala celebrated 25 Years in style at the JW Marriott on November 11th. The gala lead by Executive Director, Carolyn Waller was a time to celebrate Black Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs and Career Professionals. There was amazing food, drinks, and a time for dressing to the nines, celebrating and investing in community. Ron Busby Sr., President and CEO of the US Black Chambers of Commerce, gave an amazing speech on positioning your business and career to proper in these current economic and political times. Many amazing business owners were recognized including Reggie Polk & Tanora Polk, who were named Nashville Black Chamber Black Business of the Year. Our Urbaanite Editor + Founder, Ashley Currie was also recognized with a Rising Star Award!
