24 Hours In Nashville: Work Hard, Relax Harder

Emmanuel LeGrair is a store director, entrepreneur, and singer. He runs his own blog where he discusses personal development, style, and grooming.

Why is Emmanuel lovin’ Nashville right now?

Nashville is growing so rapidly but at the same time is trying to solidify what it will be. In that, it gives you license to do the same.

Morning

I like to get my work done in the morning whenever possible, so a great coffee shop is a perfect place to do that. I’m more of a tea drinker, but I am big on vibes and aesthetics and Americano Coffee Bar in Wedgewood Houston provides that for sure! It feels great to grab a corner, a comfy chair, a cup of tea, and knock some work out there. I may or may not grab a few treats from Baked On 8th on 8th Ave S on the way in as well..

Afternoon

I really enjoy great conversations over great food. For a great afternoon, I always enjoys trips to Avo in One City towards West Nashville or Sunflower Cafe in Berry Hill. As a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) these two restaurants are great options for flavorful and healthy foods! Now I just have to convince my non-vegetarian friends to come with me!

Evening

What would Nashville be without live music right? My favorite music venue in the city is the Schermerhorn downtown. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and the variety of types of music played there is vast. I love orchestral music, but I also love R&B and pop and everything else in between. The Schermerhorn has it for you, indeed.

Late Night

I just recently celebrated my birthday with some friends at the Bobby Hotel rooftop and had a great time! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the view was amazing, and the DJ & dancing was fun as well! If you want to do something late night, then downtown rooftops are a great place to be and experience the city!
