Michelle is an attorney and currently the Vice President of Policy at the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
Why Michelle is lovin’ Nashville right now:
Now that it’s warm and everyone is in much better spirits, I always want to be outside on a patio or rooftop. There are so many opening now! My favorites are: LA Jackson and Acme. I haven’t been to Rare Bird yet but I heard it’s pretty dope.
My ideal morning is to wake up around 8ish, workout with my trainer or at Pepper Boxing; then leisurely make my way to a brunch spot with mimosas (Sinema, St. Anejo, Tavern at the Bobby, etc) with the homies.
My ideal afternoon is probably doing something that requires minimal effort but is a total break from my work week – going to the Farmers Market, hanging out in Centennial Park, maybe on another patio or rooftop bar for afternoon cocktails at Pinewood Social; or maybe seeing a movie at the Belcourt Theatre (I’m dying to see RGB).
My husband and I love live music. We’ll go to concerts at the usual venues (Bridgestone, Ryman, Ascend Amphitheater) or we’ll go some place like Rudy’s Jazz Room (Gulch), Skull’s Rainbow Room (Printers Alley).
Bar Sovereign on a Friday night. The DJ is always dope with the old school R&B, a good drink and my two-step. It’s much needed after a long work week!
