Kirbee Miller is the owner and culinary experience curator of Kinimi Kitchen.

Why Kirbee is lovin’ Nashville right now:

I moved to Nashville in 2003. Since then, I have seen the city grow and more and more diverse people and business are settling into their niche… and I love it! As a people person and a foodie, I enjoy that there is not shortage of new people to meet and delicious restaurants to try out. There are plenty of events and social opportunities for people to get out and make new connections. I was able to launch an online cooking show, teach cooking classes, and host interactive events to share my inner foodie via my brand KiNiMi Kitchen: Flavorful Creative, LLC. What more can you ask for!

Morning

Ideally we are talking about a Saturday. My morning would start with some time to journal and sketch my latest ideas out, while enjoying the positive vibes at the The Post East coffee shop. Then I’d head over to a yoga session overlooking the city! I love the monthly Yoga & Mimosa sessions at the Nashville City Club taught by the uber talented and Ashley Brooke James of Triluna Wellness + Events.

Afternoon

I love the hustle and bustle of Nashville so I would stop by the Nashville Farmers’ Market to pick up some fresh ingredients get inspired and shop with out local businesses, I would also make a stop at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream to snag a bowl of, The Darkest Chocolate and Browned Butter Almond Brittle ice cream.

Evening

My ideal evening would consist of meeting up with friends for dinner. Thai Esane would be my go-to pick, where I would order the crab rangoons and Vegetarian Green Curry. You have to try it!

Late Night

Once we are full and happy, we would enjoy some music, perhaps at Woolworth on 5th when Jason Eskridge is playing and lose track of time.

Bonus

As much as I like people, I like to to get away for some outdoor scenery and peace. I would grab a blanket and a book and head over to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, which has a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum. First I would take a stroll through the latest are exhibit, then relax outside and enjoy the view.
