Why CaNesha is lovin’ Nashville right now:

Although, the traffic is terrible, I love all the growth Nashville is experiencing. When I moved here 12 years ago, I never thought I would be living in the “IT” City so that’s pretty cool. There are so many new places popping up; you can’t get bored and as a single person in the city that’s a good thing.

Morning

Honestly, my ideal morning is any morning that I can wake up when I want to instead of an alarm waking me up LOL! Then being able to actually cook breakfast because I’m not rushing anywhere or just enjoying a bowl of my favorite cereal which is Captain Crunch or Lucky Charms. My ideal Sunday morning is attending service at Mt. Zion. I always leave feeling refreshed and renewed. My spirit is always fed after service.

Afternoon

I love having brunch with friends. My typical, okay only brunch meal is chicken and waffles so if the restaurant does not have chicken and waffles I might can’t make it LOL. Some of my favorite chicken and waffles are from Fin & Pearl, Urban Grub and The Sutler to name a few.

Evening

During the week my ideal evening is attending Tier Time Fitness at LaVergne High School. I do not like to work out, but this class is awesome and fun. I’m sure I burn a million calories each class. She is one of the best fitness instructors in our city. My ideal evening, on weekend is picking up takeout and catching up on my DVR and/or binging a show on Netflix.

Late Night

On the rare occasion I’m out at night I love to hear live music. Bourbon Street Blues & Boggie Bar in Printers Alley is a great place. But don’t wear your good clothes.

Bonus

I just recently went to Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum and I’m so mad at myself that it was my first time. It’s a gorgeous venue with so much to do and see. They have monthly happy hours that include food trucks and live music. Cheekwood is definitely a place that should be on your to-do list and make sure and wear flats.
