Nashville Black Wellness Collective, a local wellness community in Nashville wrapped their popular 2 Mile Tuesday for the season and didn’t let the rain stop them.

Huband and Wife team, Kim and Claude Walker set on a mission this summer to get people moving in the city. The 2 Mile Tuesday events encouraged everyone to join every week and get in 2 miles together while building community. Seasoned runners, brisk walkers, stroller pushers, or just want to soak up the positive energy were welcome

They celebrated their final 2 miles at the end of this September with an indoor workout, DJ and connection time with food and health screenings. They were also presented with the Community Impact Award. As Kim Walker shares, “It’s been a phenomenal program to move the culture to be healthier and happier.”

2 Mile Tuesday will resume in March – September 2025 when evening daylight comes back. So make sure you are connected to the Nashville Black Wellness Collective for the kick-off date.
